Cash For Clunkers – An Interview with Jim Ziegler

by Terry on Sunday, August 2, 2009

Jim Ziegler, Auto Industry ExpertYou’ve heard of “Cash For Clunkers” if you live in the US. It is a program whereby the US Government is trying to spur demand for auto sales. Well, there is a lot more to it than what you’ll hear in the press. So, I decided to get one of the experts in the auto industry, Jim Ziegler, to help you decipher what is going on with that.

Well, not only did Jim help on that but even more important, he shares how he was able to take a major devastating blow last year with the economy and turn his business around. Listen to this and be inspired. Listen to this and learn. Listen to this and discover what you can do in your own business to make it work. It is worth the 21:31 time investment to hear how you can bounce back from any business defeat. Ziegler tells you how in this interview.

You can reach Jim at http://zieglersupersystems.com/ for more information.

Enjoy this one!

Transforming VCR tapes to Dvd movie is not that tough if you’ve got the right equipment.

Thank you, Frank. Very good points and it is something we have to be aware of in marketing and business. The tenacity and innovation that Jim talks about in this podcast provide all of us motivation and the “how to” in order to survive.

Thank you for your comments.

Great message, I am contacting my congressman about moving the
cash for marketing guys effort forward. I know you will be on board.
Who pays for it, print more money, our grandkids, our kids – no one in the
administration seems to care, so lets get it while the gettin is good. Terry,
you are the most well connected marketing guy I know, so you can spearhead
the effort.
Tongue out of cheek now, it is very disturbing to see the era of personal responsibility and accountability for our own “welfare” fading away. Lets
hope someone wakes up soon before we can no longer get back. Forget
about social marketing – the gov’t has got the leg up on us (sort of like my dog). They are instituting something new!
Socialized marketing, hmmmm – has a ring to it.

I love the never give up attitude of Jim, to survive the new economy and what is coming down the pike, we will all need to adjust the game plan for sure.

Terry,

What an outstanding interview featuring two of my favorite and most respected people!

It was great to hear about Cash for Clunkers and even better to hear Jim’s story of how he turned his business around in the midst of this difficult economy. You each shared the view that one must re-invent and re-educate to stay competitive.

My favorite quote from Jim: “There is no problem on earth that you can’t aggressively sell your way out of.”

Excellent advice!

Thanks,

Gina Carr
