Thank you Lois. You are so right. Yes, that “I” talk is something we all have to watch out for in our conversations. Thank you for being such a great example of how to live and help others. You are a shining example of how to do it right!

Great info for all of us wanting to grow. Best part? Be careful about I I I I talk!

Hey Terry,
Good to be reminded of this most important aspect of marketing. Lifestyle of our clients and creating relationships with people. Love your posts, try to watch all of them. Well done and to the point…

You bet, Jim! Looking forward to seeing you for the big FSA meeting tomorrow. And meeting on that beach thingy sounds like a fabulous idea. I thinkwe have some of those here in Florida! Whoo Hoo! C U soon!

A powerful reminder of the dangers of “I” trouble, Terry. Thanks! I’m looking forward to seeing you Saturday!! (Any chance we could meet on the beach? Santa Monica looks spectacular!)

Welcome back, Ron! Yes, the humidity is different there that back home in Florida. You are right about the “I” challenge that so many have. I find it interesting in conversations to listen to people and how many times they use “I” or “me” instead of “you.” I think the better salespeople — and better people, in general — focus on the other person more and do a lot of listening. Thanx for your comment. Terry

Nice to hear from you, Yehudit. Yes, it is beautiful out there in CA. That beach at Santa Monica was gorgeous that day Iwas there so I had to shoot a video and share it with you here on the Blog. Hope you have a great day! Terry

Thank you for letting us know, James. As soon as I got your message about the video on your iPad I grabbed my own iPad and tried it. As I type this I’m watchingthe video on my iPad (working beautifully). Try it again. Might have been that it didn’t work initially. YouTube videos work on the iPad although Flash notoriously doesn’t work on the iPad — not without some modifications. Would you mind trying again and let us know what happens? Thanx – Terry

Hey Terry,
Good points on niche marketing. Isn’t Santa Monica beautiful? I gravitated to the left coast from Florida many years ago, with my family still in Central Fla. Let me know when you plan to be in SF Bay Area and I’ll come hear your talk.

Oh yes, less humidity and no thunder as we are getting here in So FL. The “I” is the challenge and you hit it right on the nose that one of the most effective tools is to find out what will benefit your client, and take it from there. Good reminder, and keep it up.
