HI Terry – hope you are well.

A production company/client/friend sometimes reaches out to me to help locate and book talent outside my roster. Today is one of those days! And you came to mind. Please see below. Any comments?

Also please provide your avails and fee for keynote.

Christa

Here is the email.

Greetings!

Have law client hosting an event about the "dangers of social media in the workplace." Looking for a humorous spin on the subject with some customization. Budget is $12,000 inclusive of travel. If you have a good fit, please send info ASAP. Few details from the client below.

thinking about hiring someone that can do an after-dinner routine around the subject of social media and how it changes the workplace. Since our audience is largely corporate insurance executives (who pay for the litigation that comes out of bad social media practices of their employees), we thought doing the topic from a comedian’s point of view would be relevant but on the lighter side.

We need him to get into some of the legal issues around social media - not as an expert, but as an informed person who can point out some realities, but in a fun way. I have some white papers from lawyers that will explain why companies need to be concerned about social media usage for corporate marketing, but also social media issues in hiring/firing practices as well as employees having access to social media while at work.

We would want him to understand why our conference would be doing this topic - our conference is largely attended by Corporate Risk Managers and General Counsel and our main focus in on Directors and Officers Liability Insurance for securities class actions. We do other topics that have to do with Corporation exposure to litigation from various things like discrimination, harassment, poor PR, poor crisis management, etc… I know: zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz….That’s why we need humor…
