Road warriors know the importance of having the right tools when you’re on the road.
It might be even more important than having the right tools in your office.
Like many of you, I spend a lot of time on airplanes traveling to different places for business. Recently I was on an extended trip where I traveled all around the world.
While I was out there, I discovered two tools that helped me enormously for business travel.
In different ways, they both helped me stay charged while I was on the road.
Serious battery power for your mobile devices
A while back the Japanese company Cheero sent me their newest battery, the Cheero Power Plus 3. The battery offers a massive amount of charging at 13,400mAh. I’m no electrical engineer, but I understand this is a lot of power in a small case. Yet in spite of its maximum power, it is small enough to fit in a shirt pocket or purse.
It can charge two devices at once, such as your smartphone and your tablet. It weighs in for the road warrior at 245 grams (8.6 ounces). The charging time is about eight hours if your device is completely drained, but I found it was usually a lot less than that. It can be charged up to 500 times.
I found it worked great for charging my iPhone 6 Plus and my iPhone 5. It also worked well for my iPad 3 and iPad Mini 4. All were fully charged in between four and five hours from a completely dead state. It’s perfect for one of those multi-day trips where you might not have access to overnight charging. How long you could use it will depend, of course, on your usage.
