We know that we need support from others. A big part of R-Commerce (Relationship Commerce) is working with others and achieving mutually beneficial goals.
A good buddy of mine is Lt. Col. Rob “Waldo” Waldman, MBA, CSP who talks about a similar concept. His best-selling book, Never Fly Solo, talks about his work as a fighter pilot in Serbia and Iraq. He says we need to have Wingmen (and Wingwomen) around us to support us. You can’t do it alone. This is very similar to what I talk about with R-Commerce.
And yet, you can’t just have a cheerleader. You need a Wingman. What is the difference? It is critical to your career in business and in life. There are some serious lessons we can learn from Waldo and his real-world life-or-death lessons from the military. This video sums up some important considerations.
Watch this video and discover how you can bring Wingmen around you and support them. Find out the difference between being a cheerleader and a wingman (this might be a little rough so don’t embrace this if you’re too timid or thin-skinned).
I look forward to your reactions on the website in the comments. Let the world know what you think and share your ideas with others.
To Your Success,
Terry
