Persuade Effectively with Public Speaking – In Person or On Line
This is a vitally important skill to master. Your ability to present your ideas and to persuade others will have an enormous amount of impact on your career.
Recently I had the opportunity to be on the “Biz Communication Guy” podcast with Dr. Bill Lampton. On this particular show Dr. Bill asked me about how to effectively speak in public and communicate. Well, I’ve been a professional speaker since 1983 and have spoken in 40 countries (and counting!). In this video I shared the most important point to remember when you’re speaking in public.
We also talked about the difference between speaking in-person and on-line. There are a lot of similarities, but some critical differences as well. If you are presenting in either or both environments, you will want to pay attention to this.
