New Year’s resolutions are abundant this time of year. They are a great tool to help successful people achieve their goals. Yet how often have you started in December with great intentions only to see your enthusiasm dissipate into a sad case of uncompleted goals in a few short months?
Why do we set goals and then not achieve them? I think it is because we start with the very best of intentions but we don’t have the built-in sustainability to achieve the goals. Getting fired up is one thing and it feels good to write down goals. However, the most important part of goals is not writing, but achieving them.
