Important Success Lesson from Calvin Coolidge

Business-Building Action from Terry Brock

We can learn a lot from history. It was George Santayana who famously said that if we don’t study history, we’re condemned to repeat its mistakes. Recently I was reading the wonderful book on Calvin Coolidge by Amity Schlaes.

Learn the lesson that Calvin Coolidge used to connect with the American people. This lead him to win the Presidency in 1924 by a wide margin.

Calvin Coolidge was the 30th President of the United States. He inherited the office when his predecessor, Warren G. Harding, died in 1923. Coolidge was sworn into office upon Harding’s death and then ran for office on his own merit in 1924.

He won against two tough competitors and used a relatively new technology then to gain an advantage. He was up against some of the best orators in the country at that time. He was more of a quiet man, being often called “Silent Cal.”

In this video I share what Coolidge did and what he used to gain a decisive advantage over rivals who were far better than him in a very important area for what he did.

You can use similar ideas and strategies today for yourself. Watch this video and learn something that can help you enormously in your own life today in the 21st Century.

All the best,

Terry
