I’m a journalist from way back — 2nd grade, actually! I studied it in high school and undergrad school writing in both fields. I worked for a local community paper and after a few stories, they asked me to cover Richard Nixon’s inauguration — which was quite an event for a 16 yr. old kid.
The principles of journalism apply today in blogging. In fact, if you are producing a blog you can learn a lot from journalists and their principles. In this video you are going to get a solid education from one of the best! My friend, Dave Lieber, has been a journalist for over 40 years working with publications such as the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Ft. Worth Star-Telegram. Dave shares some brilliant insights in this interview that you can use to apply to your blogging and posting that can give you a strong competitive advantage. You will gain a lot from this 40 yr. career journalist.
Get out your pen & paper or preferred device for note-taking, and have some fun! You’ll love Dave’s personal, real style. This guy not only knows his stuff, but he is witty and brilliant. It will be worth the 11:40 time investment to learn these principles.
We look forward to your comments. Drop us a note.
Take those notes and enjoy this interview with professional journalist and all-around great guy, Dave Lieber!
