I’m here at New Media Expo in Las Vegas. Lots of good information for blogging, podcasting, video and more. Today, the world has changed so that we are all connecting & communicating.
Most important to connect with people as people, not just “target market.” I like the way Amy Jo Martin said it that today we have to look at Social Media as a telephone, not a television. Too many people just want to broadcast their message out to others. They’re looking at Social Media as just another way to spew forth their message.
Real winners today see Social Media as a way to connect and engage with people. Yes, that means you have to be there and listen. You can’t just program a bunch of stuff to go out in an automated sort of way. You have to be there and connect with people.
