Napoleon Hill had it right. When we have that setback, it contains within the frustration, the agony, the defeat, the seed for an equivalent or greater benefit.
Why?
I think it is because we can alter our thinking. We can adjust from thinking “No Way!” to “Not Yet!” That is the key. When we pivot from a negative, “I can’t do this” kind of thinking to a more positive, “I might not be able to do it now, but you just wait — I will!” we shift.
And it is a lot more than just “thinking positive.” It is about getting the right resources to support our thinking and decision. Read the right books. Enroll in a university class or
degree program. Seek out the professional who know the material and can coach you. Get the help you need in whatever form you need it!
This is how we succeeed.
Thank you, Dr. Hill, from us in your future, for helping us to think the right way and achieve. Yes, if we conceive and believe, we can achieve!
What do you think? How has this principle worked in your life? I look forward to your comments. Drop me a note on Twitter – @TerryBrock.
Thanx!
