Organization is a key tool for your success. You have enormous power by having an efficient, effective system which is organized properly. You’re able to get what you need when you need it quickly and easily.
In contrast to that, think how much time you lose and aggravation you have when you can’t find something that is needed. Losing important items not only decreases your productivity, it takes a toll on your time, zaps your creativity, makes you feel bad, and has no productive use whatsoever.
In contrast, the time, money, and energy you invest in having an organized system will pay rich dividends for you. An old Arab saying tells us, “Dig your well before you’re thirsty.” By having your systems in place in advance, you know where items are that you need when you need them. You’re able to access the tools and resources needed much faster and deliver the results much faster than if you’re not organized. This gives you a competitive advantage.
Consider it part of your life to achieve success by being organized. Realize it’s a trial and error system and no one is perfect. Don’t beat yourself up if you’re not as organized as you need to be. Continue to improve and make adjustments as you go.
Constantly learn, adapt, and revise your systems based on new knowledge and new evidence of what works. Organization helps you achieve the results that matter.
Some might say that it is a bit wonky, and nerdy, but that’s okay. When you’re organized you’ll be able to get results that they won’t get while they’re hunting around for that loss item. You, however, be smiling as you produce the results needed to achieve success!
