Zoom is a product I’ve been using for a while. My friend Wayne Berry, based in Melbourne, Australia, reacquainted me with this tool. I was very impressed with the updated version.
I see this type of technology as a boast for entrepreneurs who want to extend their reach. With this tool you have some distinct abilities that don’t come with other video options.
As an example, built into Zoom is the ability to record video in the popular MP4 format. This is a nice feature that you don’t find in all other video options. Not only does it record video, but Zoom also simultaneously creates an M4A audio. This way you’ll have a product in both video and audio that people can consume according to their preferred medium.
This helps to have a record of what you have done. Many use it to create products which can be sold as you interview others. Think of how you could interview one or two experts in a given category to get their views on a topic. This could be very valuable for customers as you present educational material to them about something they want to know.
Zoom also offers webinar capability. This competes very strongly with other options that use older technology like GoTo Meeting or GoTo Webinar. When I use Zoom, I regularly hear from attendees that the quality of the video and the audio is amazing. You can have up to 3,000 people joining you for a web conference. It is also a benefit during these web conferences that the recording feature in both audio and video is built into the system and you get it on your computer or in the Cloud.
