Business-Building Action from Terry Brock
How do you achieve success in business today? How do you use the right amount of social media to reach new business without getting inundated with it? How do you increase your own personal knowledge to be able to compete more effectively in today’s highly-competitive world?
These are some of the questions that I answered in a recent interview with business consultant, entrepreneur, and my friend Tom Borg as he interviewed me for his acclaimed podcast on business growth. In that interview I talked about bringing in success lessons from the Dutch shipbuilders of the 17th century and how they apply to us today. I also talked about my experience keynoting an IBM conference recently in Mexico City and the lessons we can derive from that for our business.
You’ll particularly want to listen to the quote I shared from Benjamin Franklin that applies to learning and education. I find it amazing how the wisdom of those who came before us still can help us today to learn, grow, and build our business the way that it should.
Let me know what you think. When you’ve had a chance to listen to this short (24:35) audio interview, you might want to download this as an MP3 and listen to it on your iPhone, tablet or whatever other preferred MP3 player you have.
Thank you for joining me today. Please pass this around to help spread the word about how we can engage in building relationships and helping others in business. Your input is greatly appreciated. I look forward to hearing from you!
